Call for morning prayer Nick is holding a Morning Prayer service by telephone conference call. This will be regularly at 10am and last about 20 minutes. Those taking part can stay on the line to chat afterwards. Anyone with a phone can participate - so those without a computer can take part. The Friday telephone service will follow the Morning Prayer from the back of the booklet ‘Prayers for use during the coronavirus outbreak.’ If you want to participate but don't have one let Nick know and we’ll get a copy to you. Alternatively, see CofE.io/ChurchOnline. The number to call is 0333 011 0616. A recorded voice will give the access code (214 7418). Use it, followed by #. Saying your name followed by another # allows Nick to know who has joined the dispersed congregation. (If you don't enter # your name # you are still connected – but Nick won’t know who has joined!) 0333 numbers are charged at the local call rate. Many call packages include these calls free of charge but if charged it would be 12p / minute from a landline. Use a landline where possible as it is usually cheaper than from a mobile and won’t suffer from reception issues. |
