Praying it with flowers
Flowers are an important part of our church life and the Flower Guild ensures the church is always looking its best. We have fresh flowers in church every week (apart from during Lent). All of these flowers are gifts to the church, usually in memory of a loved one. We also decorate the church for our major festivals, at Christmas, Easter and Harvest.
Members of the congregation, and many others, donate money for 'Easter lilies in memoriam' to remember loved ones. Easter Monday brings a good number of people into church wishing to see the lilies and the names displayed. If you would like to be a part of this please do contact us.
Flowers are also sometimes taken to church members who may be ill or need cheering up.
